The wonderful, recession proof stylings of John Galliano shined at the Christian Dior Couture Spring 2009 show in Paris. The looks reminded me of old dutch elegance (dresses) mixed with the flamboyant aesthetic of the Kentucky Derby (hats) all tied in with an underlying ode to Stanley Kubrick’s “Barry Lyndon” costume design.
